She's up and running, Having some memory issues, possibly the board is faulty, or there is some kind of compatibility issue. It detects all 4GBs of ram, but It wont make use of the 4th socket. No matter what order the dimms are in.... /cry Bio's detects 4gb, Pc-Check see's 4 dimms but one is greyed like its in use, cached but its not, XP detects 3gb

I put a WD 500GB 16MB Cache 3.0g/s Sata drive in there and a shitty 8500GT 512MB PCI-e (ROFL look how small the GPU fan is, Im going to catch this thing on fire with my 30inch) Card to hold me over until the EVGA 640MB 8800GTS arrives. I'll post the diag, pics soon.

Theres Xmas in this case.

Ok, So Leopard comes out on friday the 26th, and I have the day off, its comming from mac, so it will definitely be fedex and I will HAVE to sign for it... I have planned my day being a porch monkey until the glorious truck o' fedex arrives and I hug the local delivary lady just before I run up 4 flights of stairs to hastily reformat upgrade to leopard. If you have no idea what im raving about you absolutely are not cool and should stop reading this blog.

And yes I bought it on my way into work ttis Saturday morning, so I set it up inside the the tech center at staples, rofl. Fear my giant cubical. as well. On a side note i took this picture with my new phone, I opted for the Sprint M1 I posted about previously in the past. This phone owns. Period.

Today was my first day of online classes through the Art Institute Online. So far I've really enjoyed the experience. It's definitely going to be alot of work, but I know it will off payoff in the end. My first class is "Strategies for Online Learning" which is not so bad, our first assignment was basically to introduce ourselves and elaborate on an obstacle that we thought would make our online learning experience harder or.. obstaclie. So yeah, just been busy my hours over at staples increased to about 35, so with staples and pool and now school. I guess my post count has dropped somewhat. /nod

so you want to bea rox star do ya? well this is how it works:

step one, google yourself a world class scientist. step two, somehow convince this scientist to change your molecular structure into a mass of atoms that is very very very slow. step three, fund the scientist's project to build a machine to change your molecular makeup. step four, fund the scientist's new project of creating a high end potatoe cannon. step five, have your rock like form shot into outspace attached with an atomic device that will superheat you, turning your current drifting along in space rock like form (aka asteroid) into a newly created plasma producing star. step six, repay the scientists valiant efforts by letting him re-name you. you are now a rox star.

for all of you non believers out there, i am sober:

i was testing text input in safari versus firefox. currently it seems my firefox is causing some graphical errors in the way of displaying html and most especially whenever im actually typing into a text box, like this compose window im currently typing into. looks like safari wins. time to reinstall firefox. gdi. for the record it was working fine before, im pretty sure installing a pdf viewer or something along the lines of flash 9 basically owned my firefox install. meh.

and yes my shift key does work, try not using it for once... its pretty hard.

as far as an update in the land of zak:

i start school on april 2nd ill be taking some entrance exams in english and math tommorrow and then a computer literacy test on weds to get out of thoose classes. weird thing is that i still havent been offically accepted to the school. my portfolio is due very shortly and i have a meeting with the financial aid officer dude that will be telling me how much ill have to owe or not owe tommorow. ive been getting a shit ton of hours at staples recently which is nice, apparently one of my co-workers has gone on short term disability. good for me not too good for him, but i really hope he gets better, just not too quick lol. my post car accident recovery is going smoothly as well, physical therapy is painfull but the long term effects are starting to show. i'm realizing that i can walk at an almost normal pace now without any visable limping. i can keep that up for sometime without even thinking about the pain, but at the end of my shift i am most definetly in pain and the drive home is very uncomfortable. ice helps and at some point i should probably fill this prescription for painkillers. all and all, as busy as i am, i still find the time to play a little wow every now and then and even watch some anime. initial d fourth stage is the shizzzznite. oh and sarah is of course passed out next to me. figures lol(lesigh)
